WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has mentioned former President Joe Biden at least 890 times since the start of 2026, according to a Reuters review of his speeches, interviews and Truth Social posts.
The review found that Trump has invoked Biden roughly three times a day while discussing issues ranging from the economy and immigration to foreign policy and national security.
Reuters examined Trump’s references to Biden since Jan. 1, as the 2026 election cycle took shape. Trump mentioned Biden across nearly 200 events and interviews and about 190 Truth Social posts.
Trump referred to Biden at least 210 times while discussing the economy, 168 times on immigration and 138 times on foreign policy and national security. He also invoked Biden while discussing other domestic issues.
Trump has blamed Biden for inflation and other affordability concerns. In a recent Truth Social post, Trump said price increases across the country resulted from Biden’s administration rather than his own policies.
Immigration has also featured prominently in Trump’s references to Biden. Trump has repeatedly blamed his predecessor for policies that he says contributed to high levels of illegal immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Trump has also cited Biden when discussing military munitions, housing costs and the steel industry.
At the July NATO meeting in Turkey, Trump mentioned Biden 16 times in a single day, the highest number of references recorded in a day in the Reuters review.
Trump has also mentioned Biden at events including the National Prayer Breakfast and the White House Easter Egg Roll.
