The Trump administration announced plans to eliminate approximately $100 million in federal contracts with Harvard University.

Federal agencies have been directed to identify and terminate contracts with Harvard. These contracts include agreements related to research services and health research.

The administration’s decision follows disputes involving civil rights issues and a Supreme Court ruling on admissions practices.

The contracts involve various federal agencies and cover multiple areas of research. Health-related research is included among the affected contracts.

Harvard University may pursue legal action in response to the planned contract terminations.

Federal agencies are proceeding with the process of identifying and ending applicable agreements.
