ABC News has agreed to pay $15 million to resolve a defamation lawsuit with President-elect Trump.

The lawsuit alleged that ABC News had made defamatory statements about him during the presidential campaign.

The settlement will see the payment directed towards Trump’s presidential foundation and museum.

While neither Trump nor ABC News have publicly commented in detail about the lawsuit’s specifics or the terms of the agreement, the $15 million payment is significant.

The funds will be directed to Trump’s presidential foundation and museum, entities associated with his time in office and his political legacy.
