DALLAS, Texas — Country music artist Pat Green raised $1 million during a live-streamed benefit concert held Saturday at Globe Life Field, offering vital support to victims of the devastating floods that recently struck Texas.

Green captivated a virtual audience with a heartfelt performance that not only showcased his music but also spotlighted the urgent needs of those displaced by the floods.

Green’s personal tragedy fueled his determination to act. He lost his brother, sister-in-law, and two of their children in the flooding.

“Your support means the world to me,” Green told viewers during the concert. “It gives us hope, and it helps carry these families forward.”

The floods, which hit multiple regions of Texas last month, caused widespread destruction and left thousands of residents without homes or basic necessities. Local officials continue to respond with emergency aid, including temporary shelters and food distribution.

Funds raised from the concert will directly support these ongoing relief efforts. Organizers partnered with local charities and disaster response organizations to ensure the money reaches those who need it most. These funds will provide essentials like housing, medical aid, food, and supplies for displaced families.

Throughout the event, Green performed fan favorites while sharing stories about his late family members and the communities affected. Viewers responded with overwhelming generosity, driving donations steadily throughout the night.

Green closed the concert by thanking his team, the donors, and everyone who tuned in. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “Rebuilding takes time, and we’re going to be here for the long haul.”

The $1 million raised will serve as a critical resource for rebuilding homes, restoring communities, and providing hope to families grappling with unimaginable loss. As recovery efforts continue, Green’s initiative stands as a reminder of how music and unity can drive real, life-changing impact.
