Taylor Swift’s latest single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” from her new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” has broken Spotify’s record for the most streams in a single week.
The song surpassed the previous record held by Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers.” Swift achieved the milestone on October 9, 2025, following her album’s release on Oct. 3. On the same day of the album launch, “Ophelia” also set a new record for the most streams in a single day.
Industry analysts credit Swift’s extensive promotional campaign and loyal fan base for fueling the track’s historic performance. The success further cements Swift’s dominance in the music industry and showcases her continued influence in the streaming era.
