MANILA, Philippines– Strong Group Athletics has added middle blockers Imee Hernandez and Remy Palma to strengthen the rosters of its two Premier Volleyball League teams, ZUS Coffee and Farm Fresh.

Hernandez, 5-foot-11, became a free agent in December after Chery Tiggo disbanded its squad. She returned from a knee injury during the PVL on Tour, helping Chery Tiggo win a silver medal.

Palma, a former Petro Gazz captain, joined SGA as a playing assistant coach. Both players will compete for either ZUS Coffee or Farm Fresh in the All-Filipino Conference starting January 31.

The teams already feature established players including AC Miner, Thea Gagate, Maika Ortiz, Lorene Toring, and Ria Meneses.

SGA also signed Choco Mucho’s Royse Tubino and Bia General, and Chery Tiggo’s Karen Verdeflor, Cess Robles, and Renee Peñafiel.
