Houston-based civil court records show former NBA star and private equity investor David Robinson filed a lawsuit against his longtime business partner, alleging fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and related business misconduct.

Robinson seeks financial damages, legal fees, and injunctive relief.

The complaint claims the partner misrepresented financial information, failed to disclose material details about investments, and benefited from disputed transactions. Robinson alleges these actions caused him to approve or continue investments he would have otherwise rejected.

Robinson asks the court for an accounting of the investment entities they co-managed and requests restrictions on his partner’s actions regarding business assets during the proceedings. The lawsuit involves private equity funds, partnerships, and special-purpose entities holding various assets.
