Sofronio Vasquez, the first Filipino and Asian champion of The Voice USA Season 26, shared a heartfelt visit to his childhood home on Friday, Jan. 30, giving fans a glimpse of where his musical journey began.

Posting on Instagram, Vasquez wrote, “Sharing you some of my childhood with so much pride and full heart. This is the very home where I started to dream.”

He reflected on the nostalgia of the visit, noting that “the smell is so nostalgic and every corner gives me flashbacks,” and encouraged his followers to pursue their aspirations: “Keep dreaming!”

The post drew praise from fans and veteran Filipino singers, including Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, and Vina Morales. Nievera commented, “If you can dream it you can do it!”

Vasquez, who won The Voice USA in 2024, is currently in the Philippines and has appeared on local shows such as It’s Showtime and ASAP, continuing to inspire aspiring singers with his journey from humble beginnings to international recognition.
