MANILA, Philippines– Singer Sarah Geronimo announced the launch of her new recording label, G-Music, during a press conference on Wednesday in Manila.

The label’s first release will be a collaboration with Filipino boy band SB19, scheduled for digital release on Sept. 30.

Geronimo described the collaboration as a new chapter in her music career, highlighting her enthusiasm for working with SB19. The group, known for its chart-topping hits and recent international tour, also expressed excitement about the partnership, calling it a valuable opportunity to work with an established artist.

G-Music aims to support emerging Filipino artists and promote Original Pinoy Music (OPM) on a global scale. Geronimo confirmed she will be directly involved in the label’s creative and strategic operations, from production to marketing.

The launch event featured performances and a preview of the upcoming single.

G-Music will initially operate in the Philippines with plans to expand internationally. The label is also in early talks with several up-and-coming artists for future projects. It intends to explore multiple genres and provide a platform for diverse musical talents.

The collaboration with SB19 is currently in post-production, with a music video expected to accompany the single’s release. Both Geronimo and SB19 thanked their fan bases for continued support and emphasized their shared goal of contributing to the growth of Filipino music.
