A man was shot near an east-side gas station in San Antonio and drove to another location seeking help, according to local authorities. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) reported that the man, who has not been named, was shot while inside his vehicle.

After sustaining the gunshot wound, the man managed to drive to an east-side gas station for assistance. Upon arrival, he contacted emergency services. Emergency responders rushed him to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The incident occurred late in the evening, drawing attention from nearby residents and gas station patrons who witnessed the arrival of the injured man. Law enforcement officers swiftly arrived at the scene to gather evidence and statements from potential witnesses.

Investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances and motive behind the shooting. The SAPD has not yet released any details regarding potential suspects. They continue to urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.

The area around the east-side gas station remained an active crime scene as officers collected evidence and reviewed surveillance footage. Police aim to piece together the sequence of events leading up to the shooting.

The shooting adds to a series of recent violent incidents in the area, raising concerns among local residents about safety. Authorities have increased patrols in the vicinity to reassure the community and prevent further occurrences.

The SAPD continues to investigate potential links to other criminal activity or ongoing disputes that may have led to the shooting. They emphasize the importance of community cooperation in solving such crimes.

The victim’s recovery is being monitored closely by medical professionals. His identity remains withheld until family members are notified.

Police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the San Antonio Police Department or Crime Stoppers. The cooperation of witnesses can significantly aid in the swift resolution of ongoing cases.
