Driver dies in San Antonio after being hit by 2 Mustangs; kids in car safe

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A 37-year-old driver was killed, while the two children inside the same vehicle were uninjured in a collision with two Ford Mustang vehicles. 

The victim, identified as Diana Ruth Martinez, was driving her vehicle when the collision occurred. According to police reports, Martinez’s car was initially struck by an approaching Mustang. Shortly after the first impact, a second Mustang collided with her vehicle, further extending the damage.

Martinez was pronounced dead on arrival.  

Meanwhile, the children, both under the age of 10, were taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary checks but were released without any physical injuries.

Authorities noted that Mustang drivers involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation. 

Houston police are appealing to the public for any additional information or witnesses who may have observed the events leading up to the crash.
