SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo will offer Texas residents discounted admission on Thursday, Aug. 6, allowing visitors to enter for $8 with proof of residency.

The zoo’s latest Locals Day will highlight Bexar County Precinct 3, but all Texas residents can receive the discounted admission.

Visitors can also access Zoorassic Park, an exhibit featuring 22 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs throughout the zoo. The exhibit includes a T. rex, Triceratops and Velociraptors.

Guests can also visit Congo Falls, the zoo’s newest habitat, which features gorillas and focuses on conservation.

The $8 admission includes both attractions. Zoo members can visit the exhibits at no additional cost.

The San Antonio Zoo holds several Locals Days throughout the year and uses the events to highlight different San Antonio City Council districts and Bexar County precincts.
