San Antonio Museum of Art announces Taylor Swift-inspired event

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Museum of Art is blending pop culture with fine art in its latest “Off the Wall” tour, drawing inspiration from global superstar Taylor Swift.

Titled “Off the Wall: The Swiftie’s Guide to SAMA,” the guided experience will be led by museum staff member and self-described Swiftie Felicia Esparza on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The tour will highlight select works from the museum’s global collection while exploring connections between the artworks’ themes and Swift’s music and storytelling.

“Off the Wall” is a curated tour series designed to showcase special topics, typically developed by passionate staff members who offer visitors a fresh perspective on the museum’s collection.

Participation is limited to 25 guests and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are advised to check in at the front desk to secure a spot.
