SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Missions will host a four-team NCAA Division I college baseball tournament next spring at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, the organization announced.
The 2027 Battle at the Ballpark is scheduled for Feb. 26-28 at the home of the Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres.
The tournament will feature Air Force, Army West Point, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
According to the San Antonio Missions Baseball Club, the teams will compete in a round-robin format, with two games played each day. The full schedule, including matchups and game times, will be announced later.
The event is expected to highlight San Antonio’s identity as Military City USA, with Air Force and Army among the participating programs.
“The San Antonio Missions are thrilled to host the Battle at the Ballpark at Wolff Stadium next spring,” Missions Assistant General Manager Mickey Holt said. “As Military City USA, it’s only fitting that we bring together two of the nation’s premier service academies for what promises to be an incredible event.”
