Russia fights raging fire at oil terminal after Ukraine’s alleged strike

A fire erupted at a Russian oil terminal after a drone attack, following Ukraine’s claim of targeting the facility.

Russian authorities confirmed the incident and stated that firefighters were deployed to manage the blaze.

The attack is perceived as a retaliatory measure in response to Russian bombardments on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

The Ukrainian government has been increasingly targeting Russian fuel depots.

In recent months, Ukraine has accused Russia of orchestrating a series of bombardments on its power generation facilities.

Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a large team of firefighters was dispatched to the Oryol region to extinguish the fire.

The ministry also mentioned that the situation remains under control and that measures are in place to prevent any further damage.

The full extent of the damage is still being assessed, but initial reports suggest that the blaze was substantial.
