A statement released today confirms that Jerrili Malabanan will return to the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) with Capital1 during the 2025 PVL On Tour, beginning this weekend at Chavit Coliseum in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
Capital1 has signed five free agents, including Malabanan, as it prepares for the upcoming tournament. Malabanan previously played for Cignal during the second All-Filipino Conference in 2023.
The PVL On Tour officially launches on June 22, 2025, with Capital1 set to face CCS at 6:30 PM at Chavit Coliseum. The tour runs through August 16, 2025, across multiple venues and will feature four franchise teams competing in an Invitational Conference.
Though originally scheduled for July, the start date was moved up to June. Capital1 is aiming to make a strong start with its revamped roster. Malabanan has expressed excitement and determination for her new chapter with Capital1.
The PVL On Tour provides teams with the opportunity to showcase their skills and build momentum ahead of the main PVL season. Fans are especially eager to see Malabanan back on the court and to follow Capital1’s performance in the tournament.
