Gilas Pilipinas coach Norman Black has selected Mike Phillips, a star player from De La Salle University, for the Philippine men’s national basketball team pool for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games.

Black, known for his strategic expertise, explained that he looks for players who can potentially advance to the men’s team in the future.

Phillips, who has previously represented the country in the SEA Games, expressed pride in his inclusion and a desire to secure more than a second gold medal for the team.
