In response to the devastating floods that impacted the Texas Hill Country over the July 4 weekend, Poodie’s Roadhouse in Spicewood, Texas, opened its doors to host an all-day benefit concert to provide aid and support to affected families.
This historic music venue, founded in 1998 by Randall “Poodie” Locke, renowned for hosting legendary performers such as Willie Nelson and Billy Joe Shaver, dedicated 12 hours to music, community, and healing. The event was not merely about entertainment; it served as a beacon of hope for those grappling with the aftermath of the floods.
Organized by venue owner Sharon Burke and BB Morse of Poodie’s Party nonprofit, the concert aimed to channel the collective spirit of the community towards relief efforts.
