Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual is eagerly anticipating his visit to the UK for the 40th Barrio Fiesta London, scheduled for Sunday, July 22, at Apps Court Farm, Walton-on-Thames in Surrey.
In collaboration with The Filipino Channel (TFC), Pascual, known for his role in “Pamilya Sagrado,” will be the main attraction at the Barrio Fiesta show. He will be joined by New Gen Superstar Belle Mariano and Concert King Martin Nievera.
“30 years of TFC, so we’re just really excited to be able to do the Barrio Fiesta again after the pandemic,” Pascual said. He expressed his excitement about celebrating ABS-CBN’s 30 years in the UK, noting the event’s historically high attendance. “It’s always the biggest attendance kapag Barrio Fiesta sa UK. ‘Yun talaga yung pinaka malaki, marami talagang Pinoy na pumupunta. So I’m really really looking forward to that.”
The event promises a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, featuring a variety of Filipino cuisine, cultural performances, and live music from Filipino artists.
Pascual teased the performances he has prepared for the event, saying, “I’m doing something with Martin and of course bigyan natin ng magandang show yung mga kababayan natin sa UK with Belle and Martin Nievera.”
This year’s Barrio Fiesta London not only marks its return since 2020 but also celebrates TFC’s 30th anniversary, making it a double celebration for the Filipino community in the UK.
