‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ unveils trailer, poster for Season 2

Disney+ released the trailer and poster for Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Nov. 6, in the United States.

The new season, titled The Sea of Monsters, will premiere on Dec. 10. Season 2 follows Percy Jackson’s journey into the Sea of Monsters as he seeks the Golden Fleece to save Camp Half-Blood.

The series is based on The Sea of Monsters, the second book in the fantasy series by Rick Riordan. Production for the season concluded in Vancouver, Canada.

Season 2 was directed by Jennifer Phang.

The lead actor is Walker Scobell, portraying Percy Jackson.

Production was handled by 20th Television in partnership with Disney Branded Television.

The upcoming season will explore Percy’s ability to control water and the challenges he faces against new mythical threats.
