Titan Ultra Giant Risers join PBA after NorthPort franchise sale

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) approved Pureblends Corporation’s acquisition of the NorthPort franchise, which will now compete under the name Titan Ultra Giant Risers.

The PBA confirmed the sale and the team’s new identity as part of the preparations for the league’s upcoming 50th season.

The disclosure of the team’s new name ended weeks of speculation while the transaction awaited finalization by the league.

The announcement included the release of official schedules and team rosters for the forthcoming season.
