MANILA — Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo continues to build on the success of her latest album as her single “The Cure” notched a sixth consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Streaming Songs chart.
The achievement marks Rodrigo’s longest-running No. 1 on the chart, surpassing the five-week run of her previous leader, “Bad Idea Right?”
“The Cure” also continues to perform strongly across multiple Billboard rankings, remaining in the top 10 of the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Hot Alternative Songs, Streaming Songs and Billboard Global 200 charts.
Rodrigo’s third studio album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” has likewise maintained its momentum since its release a month ago.
Eight tracks from the album currently appear on Billboard’s Alternative Streaming Songs chart, with five landing inside the top 10.
The album debuted at No. 1 upon its release and has continued to post strong streaming numbers in the weeks since. All 13 songs from the project also entered the Billboard Hot 100.
Rodrigo introduced the album with the singles “Drop Dead” and “The Cure,” both of which generated strong anticipation ahead of the record’s release.
