LOS ANGELES — Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are separating after almost two decades of marriage, according to multiple entertainment outlets.
Sources confirmed the split to several publications, including TMZ, People, and Variety. According to one report, the couple had been living apart for some time.
A source told TMZ that Kidman has been caring for the couple’s two children and “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
Another source told People that Kidman’s family, especially her sister Antonia, has provided support during the separation. The source added that Kidman had been working to save the marriage.
Kidman and Urban married in 2006 and have two daughters together. Neither has made a public statement about the separation.
