NBA player Zion Williamson is facing a civil lawsuit filed by a woman who claims to be a former partner, accusing him of sexual violence.
The lawsuit, filed on Thursday night in Los Angeles County Superior Court, lists the plaintiff as “Jane Doe.”
The woman alleges she began her relationship with Williamson in 2018 during his time at Duke University.
She claims the athlete exhibited abusive behavior towards her in locations spanning California, Louisiana, and Texas from 2020 until their relationship concluded in 2023. Zion Williamson’s lawyer, based in New Orleans, is handling the case.
