Manchester bids final farewell to boxing legend Ricky Hatton

Manchester, England— The city of Manchester honored boxing legend Ricky Hatton, who died last month at age 46.

His funeral took place on October 10 at Manchester Cathedral. Fans gathered along the streets as the cortège moved toward the cathedral.

The procession began outside the Cheshire Cheese pub in Hyde and ended at Manchester Cathedral. A tribute event followed outside Hatton’s gym, where the community came together to celebrate his legacy.

Ricky Hatton, a former world boxing champion, remains remembered with deep respect and affection among fans and fellow athletes.
