MANILA — Kris Aquino made a rare public appearance on Thursday as she visited the set of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga,” where her son Bimby served as a guest co-host.
Aquino, wearing a white shirt and black skirt, watched from the audience and received a welcome from the show’s hosts. Bimby and co-host Ryzza Mae Dizon approached Aquino to greet her during the program.
Aquino jokingly told Dizon to kiss her “future mother-in-law,” prompting the young host to comply.
She also encouraged Dizon following reports that the television host had nearly been removed from the show.
“Do’n sa nabalitaan kong nang-aapi sa’yo, don’t mind them because success is the best revenge,” Aquino told Dizon.
Aquino also complimented Dizon, saying she had become more beautiful, while glancing at Bimby, drawing laughter from those on the set.
Before leaving, Aquino greeted the studio audience and asked if she could serve as a guest host on the program in the future. The audience responded with cheers.
Before her television appearance, Aquino shared an update on her health, saying she had experienced post-COVID fatigue syndrome and what she described as her worst rheumatoid arthritis flare due to the weather.
Despite her health condition, Aquino thanked viewers and supporters for welcoming Bimby as a guest co-host of “Eat Bulaga.”
