PVL: Kobe Shinwa rolls past ZUS Coffee in debut sweep

PASIG CITY, Philippines — Kobe Shinwa University opened its 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational campaign with a straight-set victory over ZUS Coffee, 25-14, 27-25, 25-17, on Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

The Japanese squad, competing as the lone international team in the tournament following the withdrawal of Kurashiki Ablaze, displayed speed and coordination throughout the match.

Shinwa controlled the tempo, particularly in the first and third sets, while fending off a strong challenge in the second frame.

The 2025 PVL Invitational schedule has been officially released, with matches continuing at venues across Metro Manila.
