BANGKOK — Reigning Mister International Kirk Bondad will pass on his title in Thailand during the 18th edition of the global male pageant in September.

The finals of the competition are scheduled for Sept. 26 at MCC Hall in The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, Bangkok. Bondad won the title in last year’s contest, marking the Philippines’ second Mister International win, a decade after Neil Perez claimed the crown.

Bondad, a German-Filipino model and content creator, previously competed in Mister World in November 2024, where he placed in the Top 20. He earned his national title at the 2025 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant in April, giving him roughly four months to prepare for Mister International.

The pageant organization said the upcoming edition will mark its 20th anniversary, though it will be the 18th competition due to skipped years.
