HOUSTON, Texas— Jonathan Joss, best known for voicing John Redcorn on the animated series King of the Hill, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds at his home in south Houston late Saturday, authorities confirmed.

Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered the 51-year-old actor deceased at the scene. One suspect was taken into custody shortly after officers arrived. Investigators have not released the suspect’s identity and say the motive remains under investigation.

Joss was a longtime voice actor and performer with credits in television and film. His portrayal of John Redcorn became a signature role during the show’s 13-season run.

Neighbors expressed shock at the incident, describing Joss as friendly and well-liked. A memorial has begun forming outside his home as the community mourns his death.

The Houston Police Department is continuing to investigate and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
