Kendrick Lamar received 10 nominations for the 2025 BET Awards, including Album of the Year for his album GNX. The nominations were announced recently, positioning Lamar as the most nominated artist for this year’s ceremony.
Lamar earned nominations in several major categories such as Video of the Year and three Viewer’s Choice Award nods for his song “Not Like Us.” Following Lamar, Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla each received six nominations.
The BET Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in downtown Los Angeles and will be broadcast live nationwide. Organizers confirmed the event will proceed despite recent protests in the area.
Established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network, the BET Awards recognize achievements by African American and minority artists across music, acting, sports, and entertainment.
The 2025 ceremony will feature performances from top artists and honor lifetime achievers.
