MANILA, Philippines — Actress Kathryn Bernardo and Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala were seen together at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) as they reportedly prepared for separate trips to Australia, according to photos uploaded by netizens on social media.

The images, which surfaced online this week, showed Bernardo and Alcala walking through the airport’s international terminal. The exact date and time of their travel remain unconfirmed.

Sources familiar with the matter said both individuals were set to depart for Australia. However, neither Bernardo nor Alcala has released official statements regarding their appearance at the airport or the nature of their trips.

The photos quickly circulated across multiple platforms, including Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), where users speculated about the purpose of their travel. Social media posts showed the two public figures in casual attire while carrying travel bags.

Airport authorities did not comment on the matter, and their travel records have not been made public. NAIA remains one of the country’s busiest hubs for international travel, frequently visited by public figures and celebrities.

As of this writing, representatives for Bernardo and Alcala have not responded to requests for comment.
