MANILA, Philippines– Cebuano basketball star June Mar Fajardo announced plans to auction his first PBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) trophy to support victims of Typhoon Tino in Cebu.

Fajardo shared the news during halftime at the Ynares Center in Rodriguez, Rizal, as his team, the Beermen, defeated the Titan Ultra Giant Risers 158-117.

The auction aims to raise funds for residents affected by the typhoon, highlighting Fajardo’s commitment to helping his hometown community. The initiative underscores his dedication to providing relief and support to those impacted by the disaster.
