MANILA, Philippines– Blackpink member Jisoo expressed gratitude to Filipino fans after the K-pop group’s recent concert in the Philippines, saying the experience reminded her of her childhood.

In a message posted on her Instagram page on Thursday, Nov. 27, Jisoo shared photos from the two-day show at the Philippine Arena and wrote in Filipino, “PILIPINAS. Para talaga akong bumalik sa kabataan ko—ang dami kong tawa at sobrang saya ko! Hindi ko malilimutan ang pink wave n’yo!” (Philippines. It really felt like I was taken back to my childhood—I had so much fun! I will not forget your pink wave!)

She added, “Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay sa amin ng napakagandang alaala. Mahal ko kayo!” (Thank you so much for giving us a precious memory. I love you!)

Filipino fans and celebrities responded to her post. Kim Chiu commented, “JISOOOO na para bang classmate mo lang siya nung kinder! Ngayon malaki na [siya]. Congrats Jisoo!” (Jisoo is like your classmate from kinder who is now all grown up. Congrats, Jisoo!) Darren Espanto wrote, “MAHAL KA NAMIN!” (We love you!), and Aiah Arceta of BINI added, “MOTHEREDD.”

Blackpink, composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, performed in Bulacan on Nov. 22 and 23.
