SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The family of Israel Uriegas continues to call for justice following his death during an attempted carjacking in July.

Uriegas, 38, died after suffering fatal injuries during a confrontation with individuals who allegedly tried to steal his vehicle.

Uriegas’ family has consistently urged law enforcement to accelerate the investigation and hold those responsible accountable. Relatives have appealed to the public for information and encouraged potential witnesses to come forward.

“We just want justice for Israel,” family members said during a recent gathering. “Someone knows something, and we need them to speak up.”

Local police continue to investigate the case. Officials have confirmed that detectives are pursuing leads but have not released further details. The lack of arrests has led to frustration among family members, who say the case demands greater urgency.

Community members have joined calls for increased safety in the area. Local leaders have urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement to prevent similar crimes. Some have called for stronger neighborhood watch programs and expanded patrols.

Public officials have acknowledged growing concerns over violent crime. They emphasized the need to resolve this case to maintain public trust and ensure accountability.

The Uriegas family has worked with advocacy groups to raise awareness and seek legal guidance. They continue to organize outreach efforts and remain in contact with investigators.

As the investigation progresses, the family has vowed to remain vocal and persistent. Their case has drawn citywide attention and renewed focus on the broader issue of violent crime in San Antonio.

Police have urged anyone with information about the July incident to contact local authorities or Crime Stoppers.
