The San Antonio Spurs have re-signed Harrison Ingram to a two-way contract for the upcoming NBA season, announced on August 6.

The deal will see Ingram split his time between the Spurs and their G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.

Ingram, a second-round pick by the Spurs in 2024, played in eight games during the Summer League, where his performance likely influenced the team’s decision to bring him back. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, following the Spurs’ policy on contract details.

The re-signing fills one of the Spurs’ two-way roster spots and reflects the team’s strategy of retaining players who have shown promise and a good fit with their system.

Two-way contracts allow players to develop in the G League while spending a portion of the season with the NBA team.

Ingram’s familiarity with the Spurs’ system and his growth in the Summer League make him a valuable asset as the Spurs aim to build a competitive team for the upcoming season.
