Guillermo del Toro’s film “Frankenstein” will premiere on Netflix in November 2025. The announcement came during Netflix’s “Tudum” live-streamed event.
Oscar Isaac stars as Victor Frankenstein, while Jacob Elordi plays the Creature. Mia Goth and Christoph Waltz also appear in the cast.
Del Toro wrote and directed the film, which is based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.” Filming took place in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The film is categorized as a science fiction drama and will be released exclusively on Netflix.
