HOUSTON, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott is set to sign a bill in Central Texas that will provide $8.5 billion in additional funding for public education across Texas.
The Texas Legislature passed the legislation, known as House Bill 2 (HB 2), to enhance financial support for schools statewide.
