Belgium’s 3-0 streak continues into FIVB Men’s World knockout stage

MANILA, Philippines — Belgium secured a spot in the Round of 16 of the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship after defeating Algeria in straight sets, 25-22, 25-20, 25-12, on Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The victory marked Belgium’s third consecutive win in the group stage, allowing the team to finish with an unbeaten 3-0 record. Belgium’s consistent performance has positioned them strongly heading into the knockout phase of the tournament.

Belgian player Ferre Reggers commented on the team’s momentum following the match, highlighting their confidence as they advance.
