Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss stated that Filipinos residing in Israel are safe and well-supported as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to rise. His remarks were made during a media briefing held via Zoom on Saturday evening.

Fluss reported that the Israeli government is coordinating with the Philippine Embassy in Israel and the Filipino community to ensure safety and clear communication. According to the ambassador, feedback from contacts in Israel indicates that Filipinos are secure and receiving appropriate support.

The statement follows recent reports of strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, which have heightened regional tensions.

The Israeli and Philippine governments are working together to maintain regular updates and implement safety measures for the Filipino community. Filipinos in Israel have been advised to remain calm, stay informed, and follow guidance from local authorities and the embassy.

Ambassador Fluss emphasized that the situation remains stable and that the welfare of Filipinos in Israel remains a priority for both governments. Diplomatic channels remain active to address concerns and ensure continued monitoring of developments.
