Kris Aquino celebrated her 55th birthday on the midnight of Feb. 14 surrounded by family and close friends, her doctor Geraldine Zamora shared on Instagram.
The celebration, held in Aquino’s room, included balloons of various colors and birthday cakes presented by her sons, Josh Aquino and Bimby Aquino. Jonathan Velasco, a member of her glam team, posted a video showing Aquino lying in bed and blowing out the candles.
In recent updates, Aquino, who has been managing several autoimmune diseases, said her birthday wish was to reach 60 years old and qualify for both senior citizen and person with disability (PWD) cards. She also reported that after a six-week hospital stay, she is now able to walk without assistance.
