Russell tops Singapore GP as McLaren lock in constructors’ title

George Russell won the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, giving Mercedes a decisive victory over Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.

McLaren secured the Formula One constructors’ championship during the event.

Oscar Piastri finished fourth, narrowing his lead over teammate Lando Norris in the drivers’ standings to 22 points.

Lewis Hamilton thanked fans for their strong support following the race.
