Eraserheads docu scores win at film festival in Greece

The documentary “Eraserheads: Combo On The Run” won the Best International Feature Documentary Award at the 12th Ierapetra International Documentary and Film Festival in Crete, Greece.

Filmmaker Maria Diane Ventura accepted the award on behalf of the team. Ventura expressed her pride in representing the Philippines at the international level.

The documentary highlights the story of the legendary Filipino rock band, Eraserheads.

The film was featured as the closing film of the festival. It also had its European premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con. The film’s success points to a growing international demand for Filipino documentaries.

The Ierapetra International Documentary and Film Festival is held annually and celebrates international and local documentary films.

It provides a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work to a global audience. The Eraserheads documentary received positive reviews at the festival.
