Democrats unveil photos of Trump, Clinton, Andrew at Epstein estate

House Democrats on the Oversight Committee released nearly 90 photographs from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate on Friday in Washington, D.C., showing President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew, and other public figures, amid an ongoing dispute over access to federal Epstein case files.

Democratic staff initially released 19 photos from a cache of more than 95,000 images turned over by Epstein’s estate, and later added about 70 more. The new photos depict Epstein in various settings, including in a bathtub, with a swollen lip, and holding a book about the scandal.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), top Democrat on the committee, said staff had reviewed about one quarter of the estate’s photos and will continue releasing additional images while maintaining redactions to protect victims. Garcia urged former President Trump to direct the Justice Department to release federal Epstein case files publicly, arguing that broader disclosure could aid survivors and the public.

The White House criticized the release, calling it “cherry-picked” and a political attack on Trump. Republican Oversight Committee members maintained that materials obtained so far do not indicate wrongdoing by Trump. Trump previously stated he ended his association with Epstein years before federal charges were filed.

Other figures appearing in the photos include Steve Bannon, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, Larry Summers, and Alan Dershowitz, all of whom have denied wrongdoing. Clinton has acknowledged traveling on Epstein’s private jet and visiting his properties but denied knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities. Prince Andrew has denied wrongdoing; he lost his royal titles in 2022 amid scrutiny over his ties to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who helped pass the law mandating the release, said he expects the forthcoming disclosures to include materials identifying additional individuals connected to Epstein beyond him and Maxwell.
