San Antonio crews combat fire at 2-story house on the northwest side

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Firefighters responded to a blaze at a two-story residential building in the 500 block of Las Puertas, located on the northwest side of Houston, near Ingram Road.

The fire was reported at approximately 2:11 p.m. on an undisclosed date.

Upon receiving the call, local emergency services quickly arrived at the scene. Firefighters worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring properties.

No immediate reports of injuries or casualties have been made public.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with fire officials examining the aftermath of the blaze.

The building has sustained significant damage, with parts of the structure visibly charred. The area has been cordoned off for safety, and further assessments of the damage are ongoing.
