Country Music Star Morgan Wallen found himself in court following a rooftop incident in Nashville, Tennessee.

Wallen was accused of tossing a chair off the roof of Chief’s, a six-story bar, on April 7.

The chair landed dangerously close to two police officers standing below, sparking legal consequences for the singer.

The court proceedings revealed that Wallen had been charged with reckless endangerment for the chair-throwing episode.

The charges were initially serious but were later reduced to misdemeanors as part of a plea agreement.

Wallen pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment. His plea resulted from negotiations between his legal team and prosecutors.

The incident occurred late in the evening, shortly before 11 p.m., as Wallen attended a gathering at the popular bar in downtown Nashville.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the chair hurled from the rooftop, causing alarm among patrons and staff. The police officers, who were on duty in the area, immediately responded to the situation.

Wallen’s legal team argued that the chair-throwing was a spur-of-the-moment act, emphasizing that no one was injured.

Despite this defense, the court found the act reckless, particularly due to the proximity of the officers and other individuals nearby.

In response, Wallen accepted the plea deal, which included a sentence of seven days at a DUI education center.
