Actress Claudine Barretto publicly thanked fellow actor Kiko Estrada on social media for saving her during an undisclosed accident that occurred while they taped the TV5 series “Totoy Bato” in the Philippines.

Barretto posted photos and messages on her social media accounts in which she called Estrada her “hero” and stated that he took care of her during the on-set incident.

In her caption, Barretto said she considered herself alive because of Estrada’s actions during the accident, which she did not describe in detail.

Barretto said Estrada sustained a serious injury while helping her during the incident, and she asked her followers to thank him for what he did.

Barretto referred to Estrada as her “son” and “baby boy” in her message, indicating a close personal bond between the two actors outside their professional work.

Estrada responded to Barretto’s public message by downplaying the seriousness of the accident and describing his actions as part of looking after her.

Estrada assured Barretto in his reply that she would always be safe with him, according to the exchange she shared online.

Producers of “Totoy Bato” and TV5 did not immediately release details of the incident, including the nature of the accident, the location of the taping, or the extent of Estrada’s reported injury.

The show’s production team did not issue a formal statement on whether the accident affected the taping schedule or required changes in safety measures on set.

The date and time of the accident remained undisclosed as of Barretto’s Jan. 22 post, and neither actor specified whether they sought medical treatment on set or at a hospital.

Media outlets monitored Barretto’s social media accounts for updates, but she did not post further details about the incident at the time of reporting.

Representatives for Barretto and Estrada did not immediately respond to requests for additional information about the accident and their current condition.

The “Totoy Bato” production continued to promote the series through TV5 and social media platforms while inquiries about on-set safety and the incident remained pending.

Barretto’s public expression of gratitude to Estrada drew renewed attention to the series and to the working relationship between the two actors.
