CHENGDU, China – Filipino cue artist Chezka Centeno secured the silver medal in the women’s 10-ball event at the 2025 World Games on Friday, following a close 6–7 loss to China’s Yu Han.

The match, held during the international multi-sport event, saw Centeno recover from an early 0–3 deficit to push the final to a deciding rack. A crucial scratch during a safety play in the last frame gave Yu Han the opening to secure the win and the gold medal for China.

Centeno’s silver adds to her growing list of achievements in international billiards. She represented the Philippines in the event, which brought together top competitors from across the globe in various non-Olympic sports, including cue sports.

Yu Han’s victory capped a strong performance for China, while Centeno’s second-place finish reinforced her status as one of the top players in the sport.
