BUSAN, South Korea — South Korean boy group BTS concluded a two-day concert in Busan on Saturday, drawing approximately 220,000 attendees and marking the group’s return to the city for a major performance since 2022.

The second and final concert took place at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 13, the group’s 13th debut anniversary. Organizers estimated attendance at about 110,000 people for the final show.

The concerts marked BTS’ first performance in Busan since “Yet To Come in Busan” in 2022, which preceded the members’ mandatory military service.

The final show began about 20 minutes later than scheduled because of technical issues. Fans remained in the stadium during the delay, chanting the members’ names and waving light sticks.

The delay followed a postponement of approximately one hour and 40 minutes during the first concert on Friday due to crowd management concerns.

BTS opened the concert with performances of “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” and “Run BTS” after a stage presentation featuring masked performers carrying torches onto the field.

During the concert, group leader RM greeted the audience and acknowledged the significance of the date, which marked the group’s anniversary.

Member Jimin, who was born in Busan, said he was pleased to perform in his hometown, while V reflected on the group’s experiences in the city over the years.

The setlist included songs from BTS’ fifth studio album, “Arirang,” as well as earlier releases such as “Fake Love,” “Mic Drop,” “Butter,” “Dynamite,” and “Idol.”

The production incorporated traditional Korean cultural elements through stage visuals, costumes, and choreography. BTS also performed the Korean version of “Normal” for the first time, which J-Hope introduced as a special stage prepared for the Busan concerts.

During the closing segment, members thanked fans for their support throughout the group’s 13-year career.

“I think we’ve been able to make it this far because of you,” Jin told the audience.

Jungkook thanked fans for attending the concert, while Jimin acknowledged former teachers who attended the event and expressed gratitude for their support.

The concert concluded with performances of “One More Night” and “Into the Sun.”

Organizers also made the final Busan concert available through live streaming and cinema screenings in several countries, including the Philippines.
