BTS leader RM marked his 31st birthday by donating ₱8 million to two hospitals in Seoul on September 12, 2023.

The donations were divided between Seoul National University Children’s Hospital and the National Cancer Center. Hospital officials confirmed receipt of the contributions and said the funds will be used to support pediatric patients, cancer research, and patient care.

Seoul National University Children’s Hospital said RM’s donation will assist in providing treatment and support for children under its care. The National Cancer Center stated that the contribution will help advance ongoing medical research and improve services for cancer patients.

This latest act of philanthropy adds to RM’s record of charitable activities. The BTS leader has previously supported education, cultural initiatives, and public health causes in South Korea.
