BTS’ Jin sets new record for Asian Solo Artist tour revenue

Jin of BTS has achieved unprecedented revenue for an Asian solo artist with his first solo tour, “#RunSeokjin ep_Tour,” according to music data firm Pop Core, referencing Billboard’s monthly Top Tours Chart.

The tour grossed $32.5 million and attracted over 217,000 attendees, setting new benchmarks for an Asian solo artist.

Jin performed 18 shows over 47 days, with each show selling out. The tour began in Korea, proceeded to two cities in Japan, four in the US, and concluded with performances in London and Amsterdam. Notably, Jin became the first Korean solo artist to perform at the O2 Arena in London.

In addition to his tour success, Jin has released a single titled “Astronaut” and two solo EPs, “Happy” and “Echo,” accumulating over 3 billion Spotify streams.
